The end of 2023 found us exploring the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. That means less water time and a lot more hiking – with elevation.
We are thankful for an adventure filled 2023 and we look forward to discovering new countries in 2024. Our goals for 2024 include visiting Tonga and Fiji and ending the season in New Zealand. We aren’t sure yet if other places will grab our anchor before we reach New Zealand.
As always, these plans are written in chalk so they can be erased and revised based on whatever comes our way.
Our wish for all of you is that 2024 is a year of blessings, good health, kindness and fun adventures!
Thank you to all who visited our sites and keep us company as we travel.
All the best from Mary Grace, Frank and TTR.
Happy New Year! I recommend you stop at New Calendonia, unless that is a destination after New Zealand. We are finally getting back on the water, with a three month sail to the Bahamas, as we are in Jacksonville, Florida. Can’t wait!

New Caledonia looks amazing. Not sure when we can get there. But hopefully.

Hi Dears,
This is the Anaho ancorage on Nuku Hiva. I’m not sure how long we will be in the Marquesas. Much depends on how the cyclone season develops. Happily, one weather guru is suggesting that this El Niño appears to be fizzling out. Yippee!! Hugs
